Hi, I’m Jenny jordan
My journey into myofunctional therapy started with my Dental Hygiene degree from Clark College in Vancouver, WA, in 2013. At that time, I had no idea I would pursue a career in myofunctional therapy. It wasn't until 2016, when the pediatric office where I worked began recommending myofunctional therapy for orthodontic patients, that I even heard of it. After taking my first course, I found myself captivated by this emerging field.
My curiosity about myofunctional therapy deepened as I sought to understand the underlying causes of myofunctional issues and broader health problems. This curiosity quickly turned into a passion for exploring the connections between airway health, craniofacial development, breathing, and tongue function—all crucial for our general health, sleep, and well-being.
As a myofunctional therapist with a dental hygiene background, I am passionate about preventative healthcare. Practicing myofunctional therapy allows me to take a more comprehensive approach, that not only enhances traditional dental treatments but also promotes overall well-being. I am dedicated to building a community of like-minded professionals who value collaboration, continuous learning, and the enhancement of patient care standards.
